I absolutely love being part of a happy event and capturing all the joy as it unfolds, and this is what makes photographing weddings such an incredible honour for me.
My mantra is "meaningful moments" and it's for this reason I will seldom ask you or your guests to look at me on cue or try and fabricate a contrived photo opportunity.
I genuinely want you to feel something when you view the pictures we have taken together, rather than think "oh, that was when the photographer asked me to do up my dress for the fifth time."
Capturing the essence of your occasion
A wedding is a place where friends and family come together in order to celebrate the love between two people and my unswerving priority is to focus (pun intended) on exactly that.
I'll record the parts of the day you were directly involved in, alongside the many irreverent moments you probably missed. I really hardly ever put my camera down as I endeavour to document the entire story of your day in a fun, friendly and unobtrusive style.
Real smiles, real hugs and, in some cases, real tears (of joy)
One more thing
I'm always humbled and honoured to be chosen to document weddings for couples regardless of their race, religion, sexuality or the gender they identify as. In fact, the more individual you and your guests are the better, as that ensures my wonderful job never gets dull.
