Think of me as a close friend you've known for years, easily mingling with your nearest and dearest and who just happens to take amazing photographs!

You want to be present and soak in the atmosphere that's been years in the planning. My approach is to take pictures allowing you to re-live your original vision. I won't try and impose fabricated scenarios that you'll know were staged purely for the camera.
