My Approach
The way I choose to shoot weddings has definitely evolved over time, but now I've come to the conclusion it's about so much more than the occasion itself.
Yes, there are the rings, the cake, the speeches and other formalities, but whenever I've reviewed galleries or albums alongside my couples, the images which have always meant most to them personally, have been those which best convey the atmosphere, vibe, fun and emotion of the day. Invariably, these have been candid moments when the people in the picture had no idea they were being photographed.
So this has undoubtedly influenced my decision to hone my craft into documenting ordinary moments, or to be more precise - meaningful moments - to ensure the complete story of your happy event is captured in all its glory.
What does this mean in practice? Well, except for during the ceremony itself and your group or couple photos (where it's kind of hard to be invisible) I'll be found mingling among you and your guests happily snapping away. I will pause every so often to check how you guys are doing or to have a little chat with one of your friends, but most of my time will be spent honestly and authentically recording everything that happens on your wedding day exactly as it unfolds.
Ultimately, if someone who couldn't be present at your wedding asked you "what was your day like?" you could show them your photos and confidently reply "it was exactly like this!"
My straightforward pricing structure means no complicated packages or collections, nothing missing that you may need and no hidden extras.

I shy away from smallprint, asterisks, complex packages with time restrictions and endless options or add-ons. The deal is I'll be taking pictures from the first pop of the Champagne cork during prep, right up until your guests are drunkenly moonwalking across the dancefloor. Simple, right!
A few days after your wedding I'll send you some 'sneak-peeks', then around a month later I'll email you a link to your online gallery containing 400+ beautifully edited colour and black & white photos of your wedding day, with full license to download, print and share with your friends and family.
Any extras, such as travel charges? Nope. If you're getting married in the UK, the petrol's on me!
Is that really it?
Yes. The only things that aren't included are prints or albums because it's impossible to know in advance which your absolute favourite images are going to be. I generally work solo, but if you're having a really massive wedding, or if the prep locations are miles apart, then you may want to consider having a second shooter to ensure everything is captured, but we can discuss that during one of my super-friendly, no obligation, zero awkwardness calls.

I appreciate that planning your wedding and dealing with lots of different vendors can be daunting, which is why I make booking and dealing with me as simple as possible.
Once we've confirmed I'm available on your chosen day, we'll have a little convo to discuss your plans. If we get along like a house on fire, I'll email you a contract that can be signed online and a deposit will secure my services. Job done!
